Split over 3 evenings, this 12 hour-long workshop will take you from zero to hero with Adobe Premiere Pro. You'll learn the ins and outs of non-linear video editing; How to ingest footage, organize metadata, sync dual system sound, makes various types of edit, how to add effects and colour correction, building type in Premiere and finally how dynamic linking works in Adobe programs. You'll be prepared to edit and export your film, including how to accomplish specific delivery specifications for festivals and online distribution. 

Note: Workshop will take place at Quickdraw Animation Society (Quickdraw members pay CSIF member pricing). Student will be learning from Adobe CS5, in order to maximize capacity at Quickdraw.

Tavin Dack has been working as an editor for the last six years. Training at Stanford University and graduating from SAIT's Film and Video Production program, he has built up extensive technical knowledge related to the art of motion picture editing. Tavin has been a dedicated member of CSIF for several years, and loves a good root beer in the edit suite.
