Secret Cinema w/ Calgary Folk Fest

In 1997, CSIF acquired a library of more than a thousand 16mm films from the Calgary Public Library including cult classics, animations, shorts and docs. Once every month, a local personality or organization is asked to choose a film from the collection to screen!

The only catch is that we never disclose the title of the film until you see it... come out and get in on the secret!

The screenings are held in CSIF's screening room @ #100, 1725 - 10 Avenue SW. Drinks & popcorn will be available for sale. Admission is by donation.

Wednesday July 18 2018, 7PM | curated by Calgary Folk Music Festival's Artistic Director Kerry Clarke (Doors open @ 6:30PM).

The Calgary Folk Music Festival was founded in 1980 and is produced by the not-for-profit Folk Festival Society of Calgary. Held at Calgary's bucolic Prince’s Island Park since its inception, it’s one of Canada’s flagship, trailblazing music festivals with a national and international profile and a broad, cutting-edge programming vision. The 39th festival is happening July 26 - 29, 2018.
