Short Film Incentive Grant

Funded by the National Film Board of Canada and the Calgary Society of Independent Filmmakers, the CSIF’s Fish Fund is a short film incentive program that exists to assist Calgary filmmakers with production costs incurred by film stock, lab fees and equipment rentals.

Anyone may apply for the Fund, however if your project is selected you will be expected to become a Production Member of the Calgary Society of Independent Filmmakers and abide by the CSIF’s Policies and Bylaws.

The CSIF has a maximum of $5500 cash and $5500 in services that it can award this year. Applicants may apply for a maximum grant amount of $5500 cash and $5500 services. Grant amounts will be awarded at the discretion of the Fish Fund Jury.
